Anse-Ă -Pitres is a community in Haiti where access to safe water is a critical issue.
WATERisLIFE develops projects that cover every stage of creating new water points for communities, from finding reliable sources, to making it accessible (boreholes, dams, rainwater catchment, others, plus solar-powered pumping systems) and filtrating it (cutting-edge ultrafiltration systems, both low-cost and high-end) while educating and working side by side with the beneficiaries. The work has been of global reach, mainly focused in Africa and Latin America. WATERisLIFE funds projects in their entirety and also collaborates with other organizations, receiving grants and donations for specific initiatives. To implement these projects, the organization enters into collaboration agreements with other NGOs, water experts, and community-based youth groups, thereby promoting local engagement.
